Each session will be allocated a chairperson responsible for introducing the speakers, controlling the timing of the sessions and facilitating questions. Please check the programme for the day and time of the session in which you are presenting.
· Plenary Speakers: 40 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions.
· Speakers for Scientific Sessions: 20 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions.
· Invited Speakers for Symposium Sessions: 15 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions.
· Submitted Abstracts Allocated to Symposium Sessions: 10 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions.
· Oral Communications Sessions: 10 minutes for presentation, plus 5 minutes for questions
Presentations should be produced in Microsoft Office PowerPoint version 2010. Presentations in other formats unfortunately cannot be supported. Do not include live links to the Internet. If you wish to show web pages, use screen shots within your PowerPoint presentation.
You should bring a copy of your PowerPoint presentation to the meeting on a USB memory stick. Please upload your presentation on the computer in the room you are doing your presentation before the start of the sessions on the day of your talk. The rooms will be open and computers available from 8am each day for this purpose. It is your responsibility to check that your talk has been correctly uploaded in the right room and for the appropriate session. Please ensure that you upload the presentation before the start of your session, and leave plenty of time to allow for technical issues.
You will not be able to connect your own laptop to the facilities in the room, so please ensure that you have brought your talk on a USB memory stick.
